Deadline has confirmed that Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams will star in Brian De Palma‘s Passion. The film is a remake of the 2010 French film Love Crime, and will begin filming on March 5th in Berlin.

The orinial film starred Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier and detailed “a power struggle between a ruthless executive and protégé.” It is currently unconfirmed which actress will play which role, but it would make a lot more sense to see Rapace in the executive role and have McAdams as her protégé.

There are two major roles left to be filled, one being a leading man, and the other, a supporting female character.

Passion will shoot for 10 weeks and will be released at the end of 2012.
