You thought the regular worlds in DmC: Devil May Cry were crazy? Turns out the secret worlds are even weirder. There’s giant chains, baddies and bits of stairs everywhere. Dante’s housekeeper must hate him!

A new trailer released by Capcom shows of a secret world found within the game. These secret worlds can be found by seeking out special portals hidden within the regular world.

I wonder what those chains are holding on to.

You know what’s missing? That nu-metal that plays during battles that became a trademark of the Devil May Cry series. The battles are actually strangely silent and I’m hoping that changes.

DmC: Devil May Cry is expected sometime in 2012.
