I’m still unsure about how to feel about Square‘s RPG-music game hybrid Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, and a new trailer released yesterday doesn’t help matters much. That could be, of course, because the trailer is in Japanese.
I love Final Fantasy‘s music, so I’m already intrigued by the premise of the game. All I can gather from the trailer is a crossover vibe similar to the Dissidia series on PSP. Also, everything is adorable, but I can get past that.
If we have any Japanese-reading readers, feel free to let us know what all this mumbo-jumbo means. Until then, we’ll just have to assume whatever it is we’re watching is awesome and completely relevant.
Sorry, the video is currently unavailable.
Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy is getting a Japanese release in February 2012. No North American release date has been mentioned, or any release plans at all for that matter.
What say you, gamers? What’s your interpretation?
