Upcoming Xbox LIVE Content/Current Deals Detailed

Major Nelson's latest update has revealed a nice assortment of content, which is scheduled to hit the Xbox LIVE Marketplace in the very near future. It's great news for gamers who own and regularly play titles like Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, Gears of War 3 and, one of my personal favourites, Saints Row: The Third.

Major Nelson‘s latest update has revealed a nice assortment of content, which is scheduled to hit the Xbox LIVE Marketplace in the very near future. It’s great news for gamers who own and regularly play titles like Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, Gears of War 3 and, one of my personal favourites, Saints Row: The Third.

Firstly, there’s the third Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 deck expansion. It is scheduled to release tomorrow, January 11, for 400 Microsoft Points ($5 USD.) Then, on January 17, Gears of War 3 will receive its Fenix Rising map pack for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD). The Genkibowl VII expansion will also become available for Saints Row: The Third on the same day, for 560 Microsoft Points ($7 USD).

Next, we’ll discuss this week’s Xbox LIVE Marketplace Deal of the Week, which is full of tower defense titles:

Dungeon Defenders – 800 Microsoft Points ($10)
Orcs Must Die! – 600 Microsoft Points ($7.50)
South Park: Let’s Go, Tower Defense Play! – 400 Microsoft Points ($5)
Defense Grid – 400 Microsoft Points ($5)

Those are decent deals on some great games. Check out our reviews of both Dungeon Defenders and Orcs Must Die! to find out why they deserve to be added to your gaming library.
