The Vampire Diaries is heating up after a long holiday hiatus and the CW has the clips and pics to prove it!

The CW has released stills for its upcoming episode of The Vampire Diaries and it looks like The Ties That Bind will be keeping the momentum going.

A little road trip to find Mommy Bennett (Persia White) takes Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) out of Mystic Falls, but Damon (Ian Somerhalder) stays behind, begrudgingly, to hold down the fort.
