A first look image for Judd Apatow‘s upcoming film This Is 40 has just been released as part of The L.A. Times’ 101-Photo 2012 PreviewThis Is 40, written and directed by Apatow, stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in a spin-off/sequel to the 2009 hit Knocked Up.

The film centers around the family that appeared in Knocked Up and acts as a follow-up of sorts, allowing audiences to catch up with Rudd and Mann’s characters.

Supporting cast members from the original film will be on screen for your viewing pleasure as well, with actors like Jason Segal and Charlyne Li showing up along with a plethora of new members who will be joining the cast: Megan Fox, Albert Brooks, Chris O’Dowd, Melissa McCarthy and John Lithgow.

Universal Pictures is scheduled to release the film in late 2012. Check out the first photo below.
