If you’ve been holding off on purchasing the console versions of Rayman Origins in anticipation of its 3DS release, then you’re in luck. Ubisoft has announced that the limbless wonder will make his three-dimensional debut on March 20 in North America. European gamers are the lucky ones this time around, as the quirky platformer is scheduled to release there on March 16th.

Keep in mind that Rayman Origins (one of 2011’s most under-appreciated gems) will also be launching alongside the PlayStation Vita in late February.

Don’t snooze on this one, platforming fans! Support great game design. Trust me when I say that you won’t be disappointed. However, a bit of difficulty induced frustration may occur. It comes with the genre, though.
