Hot off their recent movie, the Muppets are coming to LittleBigPlanet 2. Developer Media Molecule has announced a new Premium Level Kit for release in North America on January 24th for $5.99.

The kit will consist of 5 full levels and 2 new minigames, and will feature a story about Sackboy being the special guest on the latest episode of The Muppet Show and having to stop the mysterious Phantom from sabotaging it.

Many new features will be included to help players build their own levels, most notably the new Attract-O-Gel & Attract-O-Tweak, which allow Sackboy to run on ceilings and walls. Other features include new building materials, stickers, objects, music tracks, and sounds. 7 PlayStation Network trophies and 12 ingame unlockable pins will also come with the pack, along with a bonus costume of Rowlf the piano-playing dog.

A promotional trailer showcasing the levels has been released and can be viewed below.
