Adapted from the 2016 manga of the same name, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the most popular anime series in the world
Set in the Japanese Taishõ Period, the series portrays the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a teenager haunted by his family’s death at the hands of demons. To avenge their deaths and prevent his surviving sister, Nezuko, from turning into a demon herself, Tanjiro sets on a journey to become a Demon Slayer.
The manga reached its epic conclusion in 2020, meaning that we already know the exact number of arcs in the series and what they’re called. Overall, Demon Slayer has six main arcs, but two of them are divided into sub-arcs, which leaves us with a total of 12. This feels like nothing compared to some other Shonen stories, so if you’re used to longer series, you’ll have little trouble getting through this one.
Would you like a thorough breakdown of every Demon Slayer arc? Then here you have them all listed in order, accompanied by information on which manga chapters and anime episodes they span over.
