You've got to hand it to Daniel Radcliffe. After the tremendous success of the Harry Potter franchise, it'd have been extremely easy for him to rest on his laurels, coasting by on the fame and fortune that those films earned him. We've seen many young stars do exactly that, but it seems like Radcliffe's determined to turn himself into a legitimate leading man in Hollywood, and he seems to be well on his way to doing so - if he hasn't already.

Hopper’s Arc In Stranger Things Season 2 Is Very Different
Without a doubt, one of the biggest hits last year, in any medium, was Stranger Things. Netflix’s sci-fi/horror series came from seemingly nowhere and took the world by storm, hooking viewers almost instantly with its gripping and intriguing mysteries and likeable characters. Not to mention all the nods and references it made towards classic ’80s properties. As such, it was no surprise when a second season was announced for October of this year.

Benedict Cumberbatch’s Avengers: Infinity War Role May Be Bigger Than You Think
Avengers: Infinity War is going to be one heck of a big movie. Not only will it feature Earth's Mightiest Heroes - a rather large group in and of itself - but they'll also be joined in their fight against big bad Thanos by a number of other characters. Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. And if that wasn't enough for you, there's also the supporting players that have been confirmed to be showing up. In short, if you're in the MCU and still have a pulse, you'll be involved in Joe and Anthony Russo's blockbuster in some capacity.

Future DC Extended Universe Films To Ditch Dark And Grim Tone
Among other things, one of the main reasons that both Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, and even Man of Steel to some extent, failed were because of their grim and dour tones. There's nothing wrong with going dark and we'll be the first to admit that the quip-happy nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is starting to grow a bit stale, but up until Wonder Woman hit theatres, the DCEU was in desperate need of some positivity, and the fans made sure that Warner Bros. knew it.

Resident Evil Reboot Will Be More Focused On Action Than Horror
Milla Jovovich and the Resident Evil film franchise have enjoyed a long and mutually fruitful relationship, beginning with 2002’s first outing and concluding six films later with last year’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Presumably, after that last film wrapped, Jovovich sat back and put her feet up, happy that she’d said all that needed to be said about killer monster viruses, mutated freaks and sub-Matrix superpowers.

Simon Kinberg To Direct X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence And James McAvoy Returning
Deadline is reporting that Simon Kinberg will direct X-Men: Dark Phoenix, with James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender all set to return. Not only that, but Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit-McPhee will all be back as well and the studio is also in talks with Jessica Chastain for a role - as was previously rumored.

Joel Schumacher Finally Apologizes For Batman & Robin
A character with as much history as Batman is bound to end up in some pretty terrible adaptations, be it in film, television, gaming, etc. Thankfully, most of the Caped Crusader's efforts outside of the comics have been enjoyable and well executed affairs, but when it comes to the stinkers, there's perhaps none more disastrous than Joel Schumacher's critically derided Batman & Robin.
