Tom Hardy Wanted For X-Men: Apocalypse
Late last night, The Wrap surprised us all when they reported that Keanu Reeves and Colin Farrell had entered the mix for Doctor Strange. However, they also dropped another rather large piece of news in that report, and that is that Tom Hardy is being courted for X-Men: Apocalypse. Particularly, for the title role, that of En Sabah Nur, who was seen in the post-credit scene of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Dillon Francis Finds Love In The Middle Of A Firefight
Dillon Francis has teamed up with Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie to give us something a little different. As the latest single off his upcoming album (Money Sucks, Friends Rule) Love In The Middle Of A Firefight features Urie's fantastic vocals on top of a track that's definitely got a bit of a rock/pop vibe to it, which once again demonstrates Francis' tremendous versatility. Just like with the last few singles he's released, the DJ shows us that he's not confined to just one genre/style of music and no matter what he puts his hands on, it turns out to be absolutely golden.

The Flash Gets A Solo Film For 2018, With Ezra Miller In The Lead Role
Amongst the handful of DC bombshell announcements today was the news that Ezra Miller had been cast as The Flash, with the character getting his own solo outing in 2018 and presumably joining the Justice League film as well, which we now know will be directed by Zack Snyder. This piece of casting might disappoint some as it means that the DC TV Universe will be separate from the film one (as Grant Gustin plays the character on television), but it's still pretty exciting stuff.

Zack Snyder Confirmed To Direct The Justice League Film
After much speculation and debate, it has finally been confirmed that Zack Snyder will indeed helm the Justice League film, which will be split into two parts. The first instalment will arrive in 2017 with the second one following in 2019. To clarify, this is not Justice League and its sequel, this is one single movie being split into two parts because, well, because this is Hollywood.

Above & Beyond Announce New Album For 2015
With ABGT 100 coming up on October 18th, Above & Beyond have decided to ride the wave of momentum that's currently surrounding their upcoming concert by announcing plans for a new album. Titled We Are All We Need, the disc is set to drop on January 19th, 2015 in the UK and one day later in the US. We don't know too much about it just yet, but the group did reveal that we should expect collaborations with Alex Fargas, Justine Suissa and Zoe Johnston.

Robert Downey Jr. Joins Captain America 3
If you recall, Robert Downey Jr. threw us for a loop last week when he somewhat confirmed Iron Man 4 but then went back on his statement, saying that instead, he'll be showing up in other Marvel films. While we know that he'll obviously star in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and likely the third Avengers film, too, we can now add another superhero pic to his slate: Captain America 3.

Knife Party Will Now Abandon Ship In November
For those of you who are eagerly awaiting Abandon Ship, the upcoming album from Knife Party, we've got some bad news. The Australian duo has announced today that the disc is now delayed from its initial end of October release date to November 10th. It's not a huge deal, but it's definitely a bit disappointing for those who have been looking forward to hearing new music from Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen.
