A Most Violent Year marks J.C. Chandor's third film as a director, and though it hasn't been officially released yet, it's already starting to accumulate just as much acclaim and awards buzz as his previous two efforts did.

The Better Angels marks the directorial debut of A.J. Edwards, a long time protégé of Terrence Malick. Filmed in beautiful black and white, it focuses on the childhood of one of America’s greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln.
It’s been several years since we saw her last film, The Secret Life of Bees, but writer/director Gina Prince-Bythewood is finally back with the romantic drama, Beyond the Lights.
