The depressing omission of online multiplayer aside, Trials Fusion is a worthy follow-up to one of the best downloadable titles of the last console generation.
Despite some questionable design decisions, there's a good time to be had with Mercenary Kings. Loads of content, great presentation values, and an addictive mission structure will keep you coming back for more.
Co-founder of id Software, current chief technology officer at Oculus VR, and all-around game programming genus John Carmack recently took to twitter with a comment on Sony's recently announced virtual reality headset, Project Morpheus. Due to the power of the PlayStation 4, you may have visions of becoming fully immersed in a world every bit as detailed as Killzone: Shadow Fall or Infamous: Second Son, but Carmack's tweet suggests that might be a mistake.
Overall, I enjoyed my time with Constant-C, and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates the puzzle platformer genre. While it can sometimes feel quite challenging, the refusal to hold your hand makes arriving at a solution all the more rewarding.
If you're a fan of classic co-op shooters like Contra and Metal Slug, and you think that they'd be even better with a deep and rewarding weapon crafting system, I have some good news for you. Mercenary Kings -- from developer Tribute Games -- will be available for the PlayStation 4 starting April 1st, and it sounds like it could be just what you're looking for.
Fans of the Trials series take note, as Ubisoft has just announced that Trials Fusion will be released on April 16 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC through Steam. This will mark the first time that a Trials game has been released on a PlayStation console, as previous games in the series had been published by Microsoft. It would seem that January was a very good month for Sony, as the NPD research group has revealed that the PlayStation 4 managed to outsell Microsoft's Xbox One by a near 2-to-1 margin. Speaking to VentureBeat, Sony spokesperson Guy Longworth also confirmed that PlayStation 4 version of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition saw a similar 2:1 sales ratio.
There are only so many different pinball tables in the world, and many of them have already been recreated in digital form by Farsight, the developers of The Pinball Arcade. According to the Internet Pinball Database, eight of the top ten pinball games of all time have already been remade into digitized Pinball Arcade tables. But as the ever increasing selection of tables continues to grow, it could eventually become harder to find tables that capture the same interest level of their earlier releases.

The PS3 and PS4 versions of the latest title in Capcom's long-running Strider series will be available on February 18th with the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Steam versions to follow on the 19th. The game will be priced at $14.99 across all consoles.
If you've spent any amount of time browsing through the titles on the Xbox Live Indie Games store, there's a good chance you've seen the work of Jonathan and David Flook, better known as Silver Dollar Games. Essentially, they're a couple of brothers just having some fun and making some really silly games. The subjects of their games have included flatulence, telemarketers, pickup lines, animal sounds, fortune cookies, whiny children and trying to keep a cat away from your food. Oh, and cooties.
