Action Henk isn't all that it could have been, due to some slight control issues and a hefty dose of frustration. It's too bad, because there are some really solid building blocks to be found here, in a game that takes ideas from Joe Danger and Doritos Crash Course and tries to up the ante.
If you're looking for a great, retro-styled platformer/Metroidvania game, then you can't go wrong with Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. It stands out above the crowd, thanks to smart and polished gameplay, and is a welcomed addition to the Xbox One's library.
