Ever since 2004, the WWE franchise has slowly taken the realistic design route instead of the arcade style that the franchise was known for. Now we come to WWE All-Stars and it seems as if the franchise has made a departure from the sim style gameplay and is looking to THQ to make an over the top arcade style wrestling game. Instead of the usual grappling and submission style gameplay, All Stars uses an addicting simple control scheme to put you in the center of the mayhem. With an awesome roster of classic WWE superstars, and today’s biggest names in wrestling, WWE All-Stars looks to breathe fresh life into the wrestling genre.

Treyarch has set yet another record for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game currently holds the record for most sales in five days, and now it has become the best selling game in U.S. history.
Did you see Doom? If you did, I am sorry to say that a sequel might be in the works.
Video game based movies are known for not being very good, but Doom was downright awful. So bad that Universal is considering rebooting the franchise already. Why you may ask? Apparently the DVD sales were decent. Expect the movie to be in 3D, and I'm assuming another FPS style scene will be included.
Nintendo has their GDC 2011 keynote this morning, and a few new things will be coming to the 3DS this May.
Netflix will be coming to the device, and will have access to every movie on the instant watch catalog. The movies will play in 2D not 3D. Nintendo seems to be really pushing the fact that, Netflix allows viewers to start viewing a movie on your 3DS, then pick up right where you left off on your big screen.
Valve has made the first big announcement of GDC 2011. Steam will be adding a feature called Big Picture mode. This new feature will allow better scaling when your PC is hooked to a television, instead of a monitor. Valve also is adding support so that many different types of controllers will be compatible right out of the box.
Hard Corps: Uprising is part of the very popular Contra series, and a prequel to Contra: Hard Corps. It is the first title in what is expected to be a new long lasting franchise. The game features a similar gameplay style to the Contra series and boasts intense firefights, extremely high difficulty, and beautiful scenery
PC gamers rejoice! Crytek has confirmed a Crysis 2 demo will be releasing for the PC on March 1st!
Two games modes have been confirmed for the demo. They are Team Instant Action, and Crash Site. Team Instant Action is essentially team death match, and Crash Site is similar to King of the Hill. A pair of maps have also been confirmed, Skyline and Pier 17.
THQ's Homefront is coming next month, and if you haven't picked up the new Xbox 360 S, then this might be the bundle for you. While details of the Homefront bundle are not official, it is safe assume it will be a 250 GB Xbox 360 S with Homefront in the box.
