Ron Perlman Says He’s At Peace About The Upcoming Hellboy Reboot
The announcement that a new Hellboy movie was being made without the involvement of Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman was greeted with no small amount of dismay by fans. After all, del Toro's widely considered to have nailed the tone of the comics with Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army, but sadly, their underwhelming box office numbers made studios wary of committing to a third installment to round out the trilogy. In addition, Ron Perlman's performance was absolutely perfect for the character and it was difficult to imagine anyone else in the role.

Stallone Wields An Iconic Weapon In New Rambo V: Last Blood Photo
There are few more iconic weapons for John Rambo than his compound bow. One of the best action sequences in Rambo: First Blood Part II comes when he stealthily eliminates a squad of soldiers in a North Vietnamese prison camp. From there, it instantly became part of the character's iconography, popping up in Rambo III where he uses it to destroy helicopters and again in Rambo when he's seen using it for fishing.

Chris Pratt And Tom Holland Teaming Up For New Disney Film Onward
Chris Pratt and Tom Holland have both had a very happy relationship with Disney over the last few years, with the former cementing his blockbuster credentials with his turn as Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy films and the latter instantly becoming many people's favorite Spider-Man. Of course, the pair crossed paths in Avengers: Infinity War, and though they didn't get a huge amount of time to hang out, they still shared some obvious chemistry. That might be why Disney/Pixar have now cast them as the two leads in their just-announced fantasy adventure Onward.

Marvel Comics Planning To Retcon The Origins Of The Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four essentially birthed Marvel comics as we know it. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's tale of an All-American family dealing with newfound superpowers was a mission statement for what they'd go on to do with the rest of the Marvel Universe. Cruel fate handed them powers that were often as much a curse as they were a blessing, and each of the family interacted with each other in believable ways and had believable concern. That was in 1961. Now, in 2018 Marvel Comics are apparently set to retcon the classic origins of the Fantastic Four to suggest that it might not have been an accident that gave them their powers.

Peter Jackson May Be Involved With The Lord Of The Rings TV Show
Amazon's upcoming Lord of the Rings became one of the most anticipated TV shows the very minute it was announced. The company has big plans for the property, having already commissioned multiple seasons with potential for spinoffs, and the story's rumored to be about the adventures of a young Aragorn. Of course, all this will take place in the considerable shadow of Peter Jackson's beloved and critically acclaimed movie adaptations, which brought Middle-earth to life in the early 2000s and defined much of the imagery of the franchise.

Venom Writer Teases Possible Venom/Spider-Man Movie
I was pretty damn skeptical about Venom. On the face of it, Sony's plans to spin out their own cinematic universe based around some B-list Spider-Man villains didn't seem very promising, and Venom being the launch movie for those plans didn't fill me with hope. And sure enough, upon release, the almost uniformly dreadful reviews came in, with critics saying it was an embarrassing disaster.

Doctor Who Season 11’s Ratings Were A Huge Improvement On Season 10
Jodie Whittaker's inaugural season as the Doctor has given Doctor Who a big kick up the ass when it comes to viewership. At least, if these Nielsen figures are anything to go by. Following a record-breaking premiere episode, the season went on to average around 1.6 million viewers over its first eight episodes (figures for the final two outings are not yet available).

How Will Iron Man And Nebula Return Home In Avengers: Endgame?
The trailer for Avengers: Endgame opens with Tony Stark close to death on board a spaceship that's drifting through the cosmos. Things sound pretty bleak: he's been out of food and water for four days and the oxygen is set to run out the next morning. In anticipation of what he clearly sees as his inevitable death, he makes a final message for Pepper Potts, hoping that if someone ever finds them that she can know that his last thoughts were of her. Unless Endgame is going to be a downer the likes of which blockbuster cinema has never seen before, I highly doubt that it will open with beloved hero Tony Stark suffocating to death. So how's he going to get out of this mess?
