Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has gone on record calling Captain Marvel the most powerful character in the MCU, and sure enough, the third act of her solo debut makes it clear that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are about to get a formidable new ally in Avengers: Endgame.
A couple of days ago, Empire unveiled the new cover for their next issue, offering our first look at Thanos in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, and it must be said that the Mad Titan has never looked so intimidating.
It’s strange to think that in an early script for 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the character of Nebula was originally written to die. Thanks to subsequent rewrites, not only has Karen Gillan’s character persisted for several more movies, but she now stands as one of the lucky survivors of the snap, and is expected to be among the key players in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.

The first reviews for the new Pet Sematary have started coming in from the film’s SXSW premiere, and so far, the consensus suggests yet another hair-raising Stephen King adaptation. But since Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer’s horror flick is still a couple more weeks away from release, the filmgoing public will currently have to settle for this creepy new clip as a taste of what’s to come.
