So far, Batman: White Knight has captured the attention of readers everywhere, and understandably so (you can check out our review of the first issue here). Not only does it reexamine the effect that the Caped Crusader has on Gotham City as a whole, but it also sees the Joker seemingly cured of his insanity and running for public office. Really, you never know when the next Dark Knight Returns or Long Halloween might come around - but this may very well be it.
By now, you're probably well acquainted with the concept of fan art if you're a geek who happens to have some type of social media account. Really, the chances are slim that your feed hasn't been graced by a piece imagining what certain celebrities would look like if cast as specific heroes or villains. And while you may have your own opinion regarding this matter, you have to admit that it paints a clearer picture than the days when people likely had to draw over magazine clippings ever could have.
After being forced to endure the long summer hiatus, we can now rest easy as each of our favorite DC shows have finally returned with a round of spectacular premieres. And now that the fall season is in full swing, we continue looking ahead, this time at episodes of Supergirl and Arrow set to air during Halloween week.

These days, I think it's important that Arrow not miss a step and constantly remind everybody just how important it is to the universe it's helped established. Yes, it is the progenitor of sorts, but it could be argued that The Flash has passed it up in terms of popularity in recent years. To be honest, I would agree with that, although I do urge those who may have lapsed from this particular series to hop back aboard.
Last year, Warner Bros. treated us with the awesome Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, which saw the likes of Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar reprise their roles of Batman, Robin and Catwoman, respectively. Being essentially the beginning to a fourth season we never received, it surpassed expectations by retaining the feel of the classic 1960’s television series, while also featuring grandiose action scenes that could’ve never been accomplished on the budget of the show.
When we think of quintessential rivalries in the Marvel Universe, it goes without saying that few are greater than the enduring one shared by Daredevil and Kingpin. Sure, Wilson Fisk may have first appeared in 1967's Amazing Spider-Man #50, but it's Hornhead that we immediately associate him with. And whether it be via the awesome Netflix series or the comic books themselves, nearly every True Believer has become familiar with this saga at some point.
Since being introduced over on The Flash during its first season, Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) has been one of the stalwarts of the Arrowverse. And since his debut, he's moved on to Legends of Tomorrow as one of the two parts that make up the nuclear hero Firestorm. Quite frankly, it's become difficult to imagine that show without him.
When you're discussing the most iconic themes in cinematic history, there's undoubtedly a few choice selections that'll make anybody's short list. Naturally, one may bring up John Williams' work on Star Wars or Superman: The Movie, or Danny Elfman's contributions to Batman. But when it comes to the horror genre, there's one piece that arguably reigns supreme - and that's the one from John Carpenter's Halloween.
Maybe you haven't heard, but there's this little film called Justice League debuting in theaters next month. Uniting the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg on the big screen for the very first time, it'll probably sell quite a few tickets based on that premise alone. Really, it's no wonder social media went crazy when the latest trailer dropped.
