In addition to his stellar work on Supergirl, Steve Orlando has everyone talking about his upcoming series, Justice League of America. Spinning directly out of the events of Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, it could be argued that it's the most anticipated new book from DC to be released in the first quarter of 2017.
From the look of it, WB intends to kick off 2017 in style as the first of several DC animated films to arrive this year charts bold new territory with Justice League Dark.
One upcoming miniseries that we’re keeping our eyes on is that of Bullseye, which aims to place the focus on one of Daredevil’s most deadly nemeses. In a matter of days, that list is set to expand when the Dark Knight and some of his closest allies will meet up with another iconic group in the pages of Justice League/Power Rangers.
Anyone familiar with the cult classic film The Lost Boys can tell you that scene in which the oiled, saxophone playing muscleman covering "I Still Believe" on a carnival stage was arguably the most infamous. If there were an equivalent of backdoor pilots in the comic book medium, Detective Comics #948 would undoubtedly be a prime example. Kicking off a two-issue arc that leads directly into next month's highly anticipated Batwoman series, co-writers James Tynion IV and Marguerite Bennett aim to take Kate Kane to new places in the Rebirth era.
