It is certainly no secret that shows based on DC Comics properties have been dominating the small screen in recent years. While The CW has been enjoying the bulk of that success, it seems as though Fox may be looking to acquire a larger piece of the pie after having established hits in the form of Gotham and Lucifer.
With screenwriting duties for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice behind him, Academy Award winning scribe Chris Terrio is now looking ahead to Justice League Part One. As is the case with many people taking on colossal projects, he wasn't quite sure if he was the man for the job. It wasn't until he saw a few talented actors bringing his words to life before becoming convinced.
The CW has released the official synopsis for the ninth episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which is titled "Left Behind." What looks to make this episode special is that the series once again takes advantage its ability to crossover with other DC shows the network currently airs. In this case, it is Arrow.
Although the March 25 release date of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is fast approaching and Justice League recently went into production, it is not too soon to start thinking about the next solo Batman adventure on the big screen. After all, The Dark Knight is one of WB's biggest moneymakers and it stands to reason that it will not be long before they let him fly solo once again.
Ever since Man of Steel arrived in theaters, its level of destruction has been responsible for much discussion among fans and has not ceased even to this day. I personally felt it to be the result of a much more realistic depiction of how two superpowered beings fighting in a densely populated area would go down. Evidently, the highly divisive topic has not been lost on the cast and crew of the film's followup, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The next brand new episode of Gotham may be two long days away, but luckily Fox has released a couple of clips. Expect the origin story of Mr. Freeze to continue and so much more when "Wrath of the Villians: A Dead Man Feels No Cold" hits airwaves.
Thanks to a brand new featurette released by The CW, we have been granted a deeper look into tonight's episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which bears the foreboding title "Marooned."
In recent weeks, Fox has been treating us to some exciting motion comics in the form of Gotham Stories. If you happened to miss any previous installments, fear not, because the saga has been cut together in its entirety for the release of its final chapter. While I did not expect them to go all out, I must admit that it makes for a much more enriching experience to view it as one fluid tale.
Those waiting for The CW to round out the cast of the Riverdale pilot episode need no longer hold their breath. Not only has Archie Andrews himself finally been cast, but a few other important pieces have joined the puzzle.
Supergirl has made many comic book dreams a reality in recent weeks and, thanks to three newly released clips from this coming Monday's episode, it looks as though that trend will continue. Not only will "Solitude" take us to Superman's Fortress of Solitude, we will also witness the arrival of Indigo, played by Laura Vandervoort, whom fans will recognize as Smallville's version of Kara Zor-El.
