In a decision many assumed was inevitable after yesterday morning, when anonymous members of a hacker group called the Guardians of Peace threatened to blow up movie theaters showing the film, Sony has opted to cancel the December 25 premiere of their Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy The Interview.
Gorgeously shot, beautifully written and brought to vivid life by an assortment of wonderful performances, Selma is stunningly powerful, emotive and indispensable filmmaking.
Ahoy, there! Thanks to the fine folks at Anchor Bay Entertainment, we're celebrating the Blu-Ray release of the first season of Starz's sexy pirate series Black Sails with a prize pack filled with more booty than you can shake a cutlass at. So, admittedly, it wasn't with great enthusiasm that I finally sat down to watch the final product.
Continuing its swift domination of the world's collective free time, Netflix is apparently moving ahead with a miniseries that will serve as a follow-up to David Wain's beloved 2001 cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer.
AMC will be heading back to the world of Breaking Bad next February, but viewers will have to deal with the absence of that series' leads Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. Now, a new poster for the series has arrived, not revealing much but teasing a return to Breaking Bad's New Mexico deserts.
