Margot Robbie To Play Harley Quinn In Suicide Squad
Shortly after David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie was officially announced, reports began to emerge that Warner Brothers had already approached a handful of actors for roles in the supervillain team-up. More specifically, we heard that Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie were in negotiations. Now, it appears that those pieces are beginning to fall into place, as Collider reported late Sunday night that Robbie has joined the film as Harley Quinn.

First Look At Ant-Man Villain Yellowjacket Leaks Online
With all of the talk about Marvel's newly-announced Phase Three slate, and all of the buzz surrounding their upcoming and hotly-anticipated Avengers sequel, Age of Ultron, it's easy to forget that Ant-Man is coming down the studio's impressive pipeline as well. We still don't know much about the film, and have only seen very little of it (pardon the pun), but that may be about to change.

Jared Leto Eyed To Play The Joker In Suicide Squad
Despite the fact that Heath Ledger's Oscar-winning and bone-chilling performance of The Joker in The Dark Knight is still fresh in our minds, it seems that Warner Bros. won't be waiting long to reintroduce Batman's arch-nemesis in the shiny new DC Cinematic Universe. We've of course heard countless rumors that the character would show up in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but a more reliable report now affirms that he'll actually be showing up a few months later, in David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie, and he may be played by Jared Leto.

New Gotham Images Offer First Look At Harvey Dent
We're now seven weeks into Fox's Batman prequel series Gotham, and have been introduced to a handful of characters who will one day undergo villainous transformations and become members of the Dark Knight's iconic rogues gallery. Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot is perhaps on the fastest track toward reaching his destiny, as he's now making his way up the ranks of the Maroni crime family (with help from rival Don Corleone). Edward Nygma is spouting riddles left and right, but is a very trusted member of the GCPD, and future femme fatales Catwoman and Poison Ivy are still in their youth.

Junkie XL To Help Hans Zimmer Score Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice
Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer has already given audiences his version of the Batman theme for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, and was recently tasked with doing so again for Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Many people (including myself) wondered how Zimmer would leave his past work with the Bat behind and compose an entirely new piece of music for Snyder's version of the Caped Crusader, and now we have our answer: he won't.

Gotham Review: “Penguin’s Umbrella” (Season 1, Episode 7)
Gotham got off to a bit of a rough start by trying to hit the ground running and dive headfirst into the deep end of the Batman mythos, which frankly isn't something that can be sustained for a full 22-episode season. The series faltered a bit in earlier episodes, but in the last two weeks has shown a ton of improvement. I was impressed with last week's Harvey Bullock-centric fright fest "The Spirit of the Goat," and found tonight's noir tale, "Penguin's Umbrella," to be even more enjoyable and satisfying.
