Wow, it's turned into quite the day for Ant-Man news, hasn't it? In fact, the tiny little Avenger has been dominating the news cycle for a couple weeks now, ever since Edgar Wright left the project and sent Marvel scrambling to find a replacement. We've heard several names tossed about, from Anchorman director Adam McKay (who went into negotiations and then promptly dropped out), We're The Millers helmer Rawson Marshall Thurber (who turned it down), Zombieland's Ruben Fleischer (who left after McKay was offered the job), Neighbors director Nicholas Stoller (whose involvement was later called "unfounded"), and What If director Michael Dowse.

Michael Douglas Responds To Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man Departure
It's now been two weeks since Edgar Wright vacated the director's chair of Marvel's Ant-Man, which has sent the studio scrambling to find a replacement in time to start filming next month. They came close to signing deals with Adam McKay and Rawson Marshall Thurber, but both directors turned down the gig, causing Marvel to expand their shortlist by adding Nicholas Stoller and Michael Dowse to the mix.

There are so many things we still don't know about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and so much controversy surrounding the decisions being made that frankly, some things have gotten lost in the shuffle. One bold choice that was met with immediate criticism and then quietly disappeared was the casting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. So much time has been spent debating Ben Affleck's Batman casting, dissecting the new Batsuit and Batmobile, and fighting about Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman casting that the new depiction of iconic villain seems a bit like an afterthought.

James Earl Jones Says He Won’t Return For Any Future Star Wars Movies
We all know that Darth Vader died at the end of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, but that hasn't stopped fans of the iconic villain from hoping that we'd see him again now that more Star Wars movies are in development. Sure, there was always little to no chance that we'd see Vader in Episode VII (though Anakin Skywalker could always reappear in Jedi ghost form), but what about the planned spin-off films? We assume that many of them will take place in the past, filling in the various gaps between official "Episodes," throughout the entire saga.

Fargo Review: “The Heap” (Season 1, Episode 8)
Well, that was unexpected. For the first time, I'm not exactly quite sure what to think of an episode of Fargo, a show that has been tightly constructed and hyper-focused for seven straight episodes, and then took a wild departure this week with "The Heap," in a plot twist that not only changes the playing field, but the entire narrative of the series.
