Opening in theaters on July 3rd is the new drama from director Ami Canaan Mann (Texas Killing Fields), Jackie & Ryan. The film stars Ben Barnes as Ryan, a modern day train hopper trying to become a successful musician. He soon meets a single mom named Jackie (Katherine Heigl) and together, they begin a relationship that may change each of their lives forever.
Opening in theaters on Friday is the new stripper sequel Magic Mike XXL, which is the follow up to 2012's Magic Mike. The film once again stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez, Kevin Nash, and Gabriel Iglesias, as well as new cast members Donald Glover, Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Elizabeth Banks and Andie MacDowell.
Opening in theatres this week is the explosive new thriller, Escobar: Paradise Lost, which stars Benicio Del Toro as the titular drug lord and Josh Hutcherson as a young man who becomes romantically involved with his niece. Suffice to say, things take a dark turn from there.
Opening in theaters last week was the new comedic drama Infinitely Polar Bear, which was written and directed by Maya Forbes (The Rocker). The film follows Cameron (Mark Ruffalo), a manic-depressive father trying to win back his wife (Zoe Saldana) by attempting to take full responsibility of their two young daughters living in New England in the late '70s and early '80s.
