Most of you probably know that Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan has been brought to the screen before and has been played by a few different actors. In 1990, Ryan was played by Alec Baldwin for The Hunt for Red October. Then came Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger where the character was played by Harrison Ford. Most recently it was Ben Affleck portraying him in The Sum of All Fears, which was way back in 2002.
Just a couple of weeks ago, we brought you the first trailer for Martin McDonagh's upcoming film Seven Psychopaths, which gave us a good look at what we can expect from McDonagh's highly-anticipated second feature after having previously brought us the brilliant black comedy In Bruges.
Last time we saw Robert Redford behind the camera, he delivered the forgettable, by-the-numbers legal drama The Conspirator, but now he appears to be stepping up his game a bit with his next project. It's called The Company You Keep, a film that boasts one of the most impressive cast lists I've seen in quite a while.
Writer/director Rian Johnson has come a long way in his career, despite only having done three feature films. He started with the strange noir Brick, which I wasn't particularly crazy about, and followed that up with the excellent con film The Brothers Bloom. Now he's returning with his latest effort, a sci-fi actioner entitled Looper.
So far, we've brought you a full-length trailer and a number of teaser trailers for Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming film The Master. These have been rather helpful in giving us small tastes of the film and letting us know what kind of tone we can expect.
Merely a few years ago, producer Michael De Luca attempted to bring the popular video game franchise Metal Gear Solid to the big screen, but unfortunately those plans fell through.
My goodness, it seems like these deleted scenes from The Avengers just keep coming. Of Course, I'm not complaining, I'm just surprised that we're seeing so many so soon. We've already gotten one featuring Bruce Banner, another with Loki and Hawkeye, and just yesterday, we got a look at the alternate opening.
Don't worry about spoilers during this post as we don't actually know who it will be, but we are getting word from Michael Ausiello of TV Line that yet another series regular from The Walking Dead will be killed off during the upcoming season.
Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead Trilogy remains one of the greatest sets of films in the horror/comedy genre. For a long time, there had been rumors of Raimi possibly returning to his roots for a fourth film in the franchise, but this will obviously be left on the back burner for even longer now with the development of the upcoming remake.
It seems like we keep getting more and more tidbits from the upcoming Blu-Ray of The Avengers. We've already had a couple of deleted scenes from the film, plus a hilarious gag reel, which has unfortunately disappeared from almost everywhere on the internet. Now we have yet another taste of the multiple deleted scenes that are to be included as a special feature.
