We all knew it was simply a matter of time, but at long last Warner Bros. has finally announced the details of the upcoming release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug: Extended Edition.

We're less than a day away now from the premiere of the first trailer for Jonathan Liebesman's live-action reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Everyone has been eagerly anticipating the first official glimpse of what the turtles will end up looking like when they hit the screen. While we still don't have a full-on shot of our beloved green heroes, today has seen a couple of official images from the film leak online, one of which gives us a pretty good look at what appears to be Raphael smashing into a car.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has just finished presenting their awards for excellence in film for 2013. Many of the awards went exactly as expected, but there were more than a few surprises, to say the least.
