NBC Cross-Promotes Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken During Olympics
You have to hand it to NBCUniversal; they know how to maximize cross-promotional opportunities. What better way to promote a film about an Olympic athlete taken as a prisoner of war during World War II than to put a teaser trailer for it right smack dab in the middle of the Olympics themselves and get Tom Brokaw to narrate it as if it were some sort of journalistic piece? That's exactly what they've done with Unbroken, a film about former Olympian Louis Zamperini.

Girls Review: “Beach House” (Season 3, Episode 7)
Ahh, the beach house. It is one of the great symbols of East Coast privilege and wealth, a place where city dwellers can escape their ridiculously overpriced apartments for the weekend in favor of even more overpriced pieces of real estate on the seashore. For those who may have forgotten the privileged background of the characters in Girls, here is an episode where they all hang out in a beach house. A fairly large beach house, it seems, and one with a swimming pool. In other words, the sort of place most of us would gaze at longingly on our way to the Super 8 hotel down the street.

Enjoyed The Dumb Starbucks Prank? Watch Season One Of Nathan For You Online For Free
Earlier this week the Internet was set ablaze with word of a new coffee shop in L.A. called Dumb Starbucks, which was just like a regular Starbucks except with the word "Dumb" in the name, and also they gave everything away for free. The dumb coffee shop was shut down by health inspectors for lacking a valid permit, but not before comedian Nathan Fielder came forward as the brains behind the operation. Now, Comedy Central is capitalizing on the newfound attention to Fielder by releasing season one of his show, Nathan for You, online for free.

Larry The Cable Guy Will Star In The Straight-To-Video Sequel To Jingle All The Way
Continuing his reign as the champion of the lowest common denominator, human catchphrase Larry the Cable Guy is set to "git r done" in a straight-to-video sequel to the 1996 film Jingle All the Way. The original film starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sinbad as two rivals fighting to get their kid the last of a much-sought-after Christmas toy, probably only to learn the real meaning of Christmas by the end of the film. I haven't actually seen it; that's just a hunch. No plot details have been given about the new film, but it is set to co-star WWE's Santino Marella, who might be someone you know if you're into watching two oiled-up guys rassle around while pretending to hate each other's guts.

Kevin Smith Postpones Clerks III To Work On Comes The Krampus
Cue all the jokes about Kevin Smith's retirement, because he's in the news again as he announced in a recent Reddit AMA that he has put Clerks III on the back burner so he can work on another project, Comes the Krampus. Although Smith originally planned on directing Comes the Krampus after Clerks III, the apparent threat of someone else beating him to the Krampus punch made him change his mind.
