Upside Down Blu-Ray Review
Director Juan Solanas attempts to blend heavy sci-fi with sappy romance in his latest film Upside Down, starring Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst. Together the two give the film its much-needed chemistry between the two romantic leads, but Solanas' own script suffers from half-cooked ideas and full-on sequences that are simply beautiful to look at, but feature not a single second of importance.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Blu-Ray Review
Don Scardino's The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is the latest magician comedy to have been released a decade too late. Burt Wonderstone is a middling comedy effort that provides a few good chuckles, but mostly feels dated, irrelevant and often-times too reliant on Jim Carrey's over-the-top turn as the "new school" magician versus Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi's old school magician mentality. I've seen much worse, but I've also seen much better.

Jack The Giant Slayer Blu-Ray Review
Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Slayer just might be one of 2013's biggest surprises. The light family action adventure film provides plenty of laughs and action, with its harmless intentions mostly coming off as painless and very mindless entertainment, but entertainment none the less. Jack the Giant Slayer isn't original and rarely counts for a good film, but it's a fun one that manages to please throughout the entire running time.

Snitch Blu-Ray Review
Ric Roman Waugh's latest drama Snitch touches up on the hot topic of prison sentences related to drug busts. The problem with Snitch is it features action star Dwayne Johnson in a film with very little action. Snitch is an over-dramatic procedural drama that attempts to lay it on heavy with its over-acting and cookie-cutter characters that add up to zilch. The film works fine for straight-to-DVD material, but never overcomes its numerous problems to make it worth seeking out in a theater or paying full price for.

Warm Bodies Blu-Ray Review
Jonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies is a near-perfect genre-changer with an incredible amount of heart, charm and comedy. Warm Bodies successfully manages to blend zombies and romance to make for one unique film that’s bursting with creativity. Levine’s sincere direction, mixed with Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer’s performances makes Warm Bodies one of the year’s most memorable films so far.

A Good Day To Die Hard Blu-Ray Review
John Moore takes over directing duties for the completely unnecessary fifth installment in the Die Hard series titled A Good Day to Die Hard. This R-rated entry is the loudest one yet, substituting pure noise and confusion for what used to be a fun and action-packed series. A Good Day to Die Hard is the worst Die Hard yet, because it attempts to both be serious and silly, never finding that right balance and almost always copping out any sort of character advancement for a quick one-liner by the bored and sleepy Bruce Willis.

Mad Max Trilogy Blu-Ray Review
In 1979 director George Miller and actor Mel Gibson birthed an iconic action star and a trilogy of films that feature some of the best car stunts ever, with enough bad ass action to boot. The Mad Max Trilogy is an essential part of any action-lovers collection and this latest Blu-Ray release from Warner Bros. delivers on all ends. It comes housed in an appropriate metal casing and in it are the three classic films: Mad Max, The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (first time available on Blu-Ray).
