Nintendo Confirms First Batch of GBA Virtual Console Games For April
Nintendo, as they originally announced in February, are preparing to finally add Game Boy Advance titles to their Virtual Console service. Classics like Metroid Fusion, Advance Wars, and WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgames will soon be available at a discounted price for longtime fans and newcomers alike to try out. There is a catch, though, and that's the fact that instead of offering the games on Nintendo's current handheld, the 3DS, these will only be available on the Wii U.

Developer Coilworks and publisher Rising Star Games have collaborated on Cloudbuilt, a stylish-looking and fast-paced 3D action-platformer hybrid game, which is available today digitally for the PC via Steam. Guitar Hero & DJ Hero DLC Will Go Offline March 31
Ah, Guitar Hero. For me and many other rhythm game fans, you and Rock Band provided quite an experience. Who could forget the plastic guitar phenomenon of the mid-to-late 2000s? Unfortunately, it was not to last the way other yearly franchises such as Madden and Call of Duty have managed to keep going, as an overload of spinoff titles from both series ended up leading to consumer fatigue and eventual disinterest that ultimately led to the death of new games in both series, as well as the termination of new downloadable songs for the Rock Band series last year.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their upcoming, downloadable sidescroller-RPG hybrid, Child of Light, that takes us behind the scenes of the promising-looking title. Some story details are included as well, as we see main protagonist Aurora, the daughter of an Austrian duke, finding herself in an alternate fantasy world and tasked with saving it.
