True Detective Review: “After You’ve Gone” (Season 1, Episode 7)
As we approach the final two hours of HBO’s grim, gripping mini-series that has already become one of 2014’s cultural staples, it is fascinating to see how much True Detective has played around with the viewer's expectations. From the pilot episode until last week, Harrelson’s Hart and McConaughey’s Cohle were testifying in front of two other detectives, but not all of what they were saying was true. Pizzolatto’s series has teased us that Cohle may be the murderer himself, and brought in some red herrings to populate the putrid Louisiana landscape that turned out to be, well, red herrings. A mini-series filled with pulp and philosophy, True Detective’s run is now winding down and we're getting closer to finding the root of at least some of the evil that is peering out from behind the torn, tattered trees and within these tortured detectives.

Vincent D’Onofrio Will Play The Villain In Jurassic World
One of sci-fi cinema's most notorious villainous actors and a thespian so versatile he is nicknamed "The Human Chameleon," Vincent D'Onofrio has signed on to play the bad guy in Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World. As an antagonist, D'Onofrio is probably best known for dark turns in Full Metal Jacket, Men in Black and The Cell. He has spent much of the 21st century working on Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Jurassic World will be his first major role in a mainstream film since the sci-fi flop Imposter in 2001.

Fargo TV Series Gets A Teaser And Two New Cast Members
One of the most intriguing new series to air on cable this year will be Fargo, FX's adaptation of the Oscar-winning film from Joel and Ethan Coen. Although that bleak mystery-comedy is a modern classic, the Coens (who are executive producers for the series) have helped to assemble a pretty great TV ensemble, including Martin Freeman, Bob Odenkirk, Kate Walsh, Oliver Platt, Allison Tolman, Colin Hanks and Keith Carradine.

R.I.P. Harold Ramis, 1944-2014
Harold Ramis, one of film's most celebrated and influential writers and directors, died early Monday morning at his Chicago home at the age of 69. Ramis was the noted director of comedy classics such as Caddyshack, Groundhog Day, National Lampoon's Vacation and Analyze This. According to his wife, Erica Mann Ramis, he died from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that he began to struggle with in May 2010.

R-Rated Cut of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Set For Release Feb. 28
On Oscar weekend, moviegoers can spend their dollars catching up on nominated films that they missed. Or, they can laugh themselves silly by catching an alternate cut of a film that never stood a chance of earning awards recognition. Paramount has announced today that an R-rated cut of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is set for a 1,000-screen, one week only release starting on Feb. 28 and will contain entirely new jokes (753, to be exact) and an even longer running time.

Terrence Howard To Play Hip Hop Mogul On TV Series Empire For Lee Daniels
It may have been hard out there when Terrence Howard was a pimp, but the actor is having an easy time finding work these days. He had a busy 2013, appearing in no fewer than six films, including The Best Man Holiday and Prisoners. However, it was Howard's brief stint in the all-star cast for Lee Daniels' The Butler that brought him the biggest audience and the connection to what may be a major role on the small screen.
