Jane Got A Gun Aims For Late Summer 2014 Release
Action western Jane Got a Gun, starring Natalie Portman, has had so many casting and directing change-overs that one feared it would never hit the big screen. Michael Fassbender was originally attached to star as Jane's ex-lover Dan Frost, but had to leave to film X-Men: Days of Future Past. Joel Edgerton was cast as another character but then replaced Fassbender and director Lynne Ramsay then cast Jude Law as Edgerton's replacement.

Masters Of Sex Review: “Involuntary” (Season 1, Episode 9)
In the latest episode of Masters of Sex, the characters at the hospital are getting their performance reviews, so I think it is apt to write a little analysis about one of the major performers on the show, Michael Sheen. Unfortunately, he is probably not going to win the Emmy for Best Actor next year. That is not to insult the English actor or his excellent work on Masters of Sex, but he is not giving the type of performance that lingers in the minds of voters. That has more to do with the character he portrays though as Bill Masters is a hard man to like.

Potential Batman vs. Superman Titles Revealed
Though we've all been calling it Batman vs. Superman, Warner Bros.' upcoming Man of Steel sequel is actually still without an official title. While we have no word on what the moniker of the film might end up being, it's being reported today that the studio has registered several horrible titles with internet brand protection firm MarkMonitor.

Exclusive Interview With Director Baltasar Kormákur On 2 Guns
Baltasar Kormákur is one of the national treasures of Iceland’s film industry, as a writer, director, producer and actor. His Icelandic films, like 101 Reykjavik and The Deep, often screen at the Toronto International Film Festivals (with the former winning the festival’s Discovery Award in 2000). Kormákur is also a noted actor in his country and appeared in the hit movie Reyjavik-Rotterdam. A few years after starring in that film, Kormákur would direct its American remake, Contraband, starring Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale.

New Trailer For The Wind Rises, Hayao Miyazaki’s Last Film, Flies Onto The Web
The Wind Rises was the best film I saw at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, and the audience at my screening gave it a rousing standing ovation. It was a lush, breathtaking, beautifully animated flight of fancy from director Hayao Miyazaki. The Wind Rises also marks the famed Japanese animation director's final film, and he may have saved his best film for last. Time will only tell though if it meets the standards of Miyazaki classics like My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.

Masters Of Sex Review: “Love And Marriage” (Season 1, Episode 8)
The title for this week’s Masters of Sex installment comes from a delightful song by Frank Sinatra that addresses how the matters of love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage. However, despite the song’s inclusion in a scene involving Vivian Scully dancing to Ol’ Blue Eyes, the title is an ironic suggestion given the episode’s stark juxtaposition of the two. Although the show is stuck within the conservative mores of the 1950s, the notion that the covenant between man and wife signifies love does not attest to several of the characters within the show’s ensemble.
