We know that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has planned far into the future when it comes to what's next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while we also know that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is on the way, it remains to be seen which other adventures will delve into the cosmic side of this world of superheroes.
For the most part, the Marvel Cinematic Universe moves in real time, but every now and again, the studio has to play fast and loose with that to make these films work. For instance, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 takes place just months after its predecessor and Kevin Feige has now confirmed that there will be a fairly significant gap between the events of James Gunn's upcoming sequel and Avengers: Infinity War.

Much of Arrow's fifth season has revolved around who Prometheus is, but Adrian Chase being beneath the mask left everyone reeling. That's because the comic book version of the character is better known as Vigilante and most assumed Chase would at some point be revealed as being the mysterious and violent anti-hero.
Aside from the first image released at last year's Comic-Con, Superman has been completely absent from Justice League marketing materials. He was nowhere to be seen in the trailer or character posters we got a few weeks back, and while we know that Henry Cavill will definitely return as the Man of Steel, the details of his resurrection are being kept a secret.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens grossed over $2 billion worldwide, while Rogue One: A Star Wars Story made well over $1 billion. Numbers like that ensure the Star Wars franchise is here to stay, but we don't really know yet what to expect from the main saga or even the Anthology movies after Star Wars Episode IX and Han Solo hit theatres.
