The marketing blitz for David Ayer's Suicide Squad continues today via EW's Instagram account, where photographer Clay Enos (who worked on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and is also hard at work on Justice League), shared several photos from the set of the upcoming DC Comics adaptation. Unlike the stills EW released earlier this week, these ones feature some of the film's props, giving us some neat BTS shots in the process.
Regardless of whether you loved or loathed the movie, there's no denying that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice had some issues at this stage. However, one thing which has become evident in the months since its release (especially with the release of the Ultimate Edition) is just how much love director Zack Snyder poured into it.
Deadpool may have far exceeded expectations at the box office earlier this year, but X-Men: Apocalypse crashed and burned. Far from a flop, the divisive follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past still wasn't the $1 billion hit 20th Century Fox were hoping for, and between that and the failed Fantastic Four reboot in 2015, the studio has a lot of work to do on their Marvel properties.
Earlier this year, Stephen King Tweeted out an image which left many fans wondering whether The Dark Tower movie might end up being a sequel to the books rather than a direct adaptation. Then, thanks to comments from the author about it starting in the middle of the story and various characters cast from much later novels than The Gunslinger, speculation started running rampant that the movie will indeed pick up where the final instalment of the seven part series ended.
Over the past month or two, photographer Clay Enos has been sharing a variety of behind the scenes images from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The photographer is responsible for all of the official images we've seen from that movie, and has become a staple of the DC Films Universe (he also shot those brand new Suicide Squad stills).
Video game fans were left disappointed a little earlier this year by Warcraft, the movie many hoped would turn around the genre's fortunes after flops like Doom and Agent 47.
There are a large number of Marvel characters who no one is quite sure whether or not Marvel Studios can use, with one of the most prolific being the shapeshifting alien race known as the Skrulls. For a long time now, it's been widely assumed that they're part of the Fantastic Four franchise, but it turns out that may not be the case after all.
Production on Spider-Man: Homecoming is well underway in Atlanta, and as the cast continues to grow and grow, star Tom Holland is busy working on buffing up for his role as the iconic hero. It makes sense, too, given that he'll be doing a lot of his own stunts and getting in on a good chunk of the action.
Thor: Ragnarok started shooting on Australia's Gold Coast on July 4th, and star Chris Hemsworth has been keeping fans updated via his social media accounts. The first of said updates is a video of him arriving on the set as he reprises the role of the God of Thunder, and while there's nothing too revealing here, he's clearly excited about being back.
The CW has announced today that the entire first season of Supergirl will air on the network this summer before the show makes the leap over to the network for its second year in October. They originally passed on Supergirl because they didn't want to become known solely as a channel airing superhero properties, but with the Girl of Steel struggling on CBS - which was always an odd fit - it has now been moved to The CW where it will join Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash.
