Everyone knows about Kevin Durant as he is on highlight films daily and is looking like the front runner for 2010-2011 MVP, but what about the forgotten player that went one spot before him in the 2007 draft, Greg Oden.
This season the NHL fans have done a pretty fair job of assessing who should be competing in the all-star game in February. With Crosby enjoying his most productive season as a pro, he is dominating the votes with 118,755. Crosby is followed by Ovechkin, Toews, and Stamkos rounding out the top four forwards.
Today the Toronto Raptors traded starting point guard Jarrett Jack, forward David Andersen, and point guard Marcus Banks to the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for guard Jerryd Bayless and Peja Stojakovic. The first reason that this trade is a little suspicious to me is that the Hornets are making trades even though they are currently the top team in the league. Usually when a team is on top they are not quick to pull the trigger on trades because it could off-set the balance of the team, so it seems like they knew that this deal was in their favour.

Here’s how the NBA’s western conference is going to break down in the final stretch of the regular season.
Just ten games into the regular season the Eastern Conference’s contenders have already started to separate themselves from the pretenders and the ones who just never had a chance. Early in the season last year’s top teams have gotten off to a great start, while last year’s bottom feeders have struggled out of the starting gate. Here’s how the NBA’s eastern conference is going to break down in the final stretch of the regular season.
Yesterday the NHL All- Star ballot officially was released and voting has started. The ballot is headlined by names like Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Steven Stamkos, and Henrik Sedin. All thirty teams and six positions were represented by one hundred of the league’s best players.
Mike has come a long way from Reflections of a Lost Teen (his first mixtape he dropped while he was a student at Groves) and it’s nice to see a Michigan native get his shine on and start causing some noise in the music industry. So before we jump into the positives of the album, let’s get our critique on, shall we?
