About The Author

Lindsay Sperling has A.D.D. and her tastes reflect it. Her movie collection boasts everything from Casablanca to John Tucker Must Die to every season of Sons of Anarchy to-date. She adamantly supported a Veronica Mars Movie (yes, she did make a donation to see it happen..and also possibly for the t-shirt), hopes that the Fast & Furious franchise continues far into the future, and has read every popular YA book series turned film in recent years (except Harry Potter..). When she's not on an indie film set or educating the youth of America, she uses her time arguably productive as a freelance writer.

Tyrant Review: “My Brother’s Keeper” (Season 1, Episode 3)
A transition between regimes is never without its fair share of bumps and bruises, and whereas Tyrant may be sugarcoating some of those realities, they are definitely not shying away from them altogether. Having now constructed a legitimate, albeit predictable, reason for Barry/Bassam (Adam Rayner) to stay in Abbudin - helping his brother deal with this life-changing transition with some semblance of grace - the show moves forward with establishing his new role within the political hierarchy.

Teen Wolf Review: “Muted” (Season 4, Episode 3)
Teen Wolf started off its fourth season with two exciting back-to-back episodes, but slowed down the pace substantially in "Muted." This episode was more or less a building, or re-building episode. Before the point where Scott's young pack unintentionally takes on a potential new member, all the characters spent their day, well, imitating normal teenage behavior for the most part. What a novel concept.

Beauty And The Beast Season Finale Review: “Déjà Vu” (Season 2, Episode 22)
In the season finale, Beauty and the Beast converges with the past in order to bring fans a bittersweet ending to an exciting (and awkwardly drawn out) second season. With the stakes at an all-time high, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) risk it all to take Gabe (Sendhil Ramamathury) down - and things end more or less as fans may have predicted, with a slight twist.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “Thrown From The Ride” (Season 5, Episode 4)
Pretty Little Liars is really giving fans a lesson in patience this season. "Thrown From the Ride" was more of a series of awkward moments strung together than any sort of cohesive, or even satisfying, viewing experience. Alison (Sasha Pieterse) being back in Rosewood has apparently made everyone's interpersonal skills go on hiatus. And, that doesn't even account for the already tense relationships that existed prior to her re-emergence on the social radar.

Tyrant Review: “State Of Emergency” (Season 1, Episode 2)
Tyrant takes on a heavy load in "State of Emergency," and it pays off in a big way. The pilot episode ended with Barry (Adam Rayner) realizing that his trip home was going to be delayed indefinitely, before he even hears the reasons. The series obviously hinges on him staying in town, so that was no big surprise, but watching how it starts to play out will surprise viewers and leave them wanting more.
