Though Hollywood currently has several magna adaptations in the works, Alita: Battle Angel, Adam Wingard's Death Note and the long-rumored Akira reboot, to name but a few, it's Rupert Sanders' Ghost in the Shell that seemingly has people most excited. With Scarlett Johansson's name on the masthead, it's easy to see why that is, and though the marketing campaign for the film has yet to kick into high gear, the cogs are definitely starting to turn.
Entertainment Weekly has pulled back the curtain on Jordan Vogt-Roberts' Kong: Skull Island today by giving us our first proper look at the titular monster. Though we'd caught glimpses of Kong in previous trailers for the film, this is by far the most revealing look yet, and we have to say, he's pretty terrifying.
Method acting is nothing new. Countless actors have done it in the past and it often results in tremendous performances. Fully immersing yourself in a character can prove to be invaluable, and for Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil series, Charlie Cox decided to do just that.
2017 is already packed full of blockbusters. With the likes of Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Logan, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Justice League set to arrive, among several others, moviegoers really won't have much of a chance to breathe next year, as the heavy hitters will be coming thick and fast. And that's why we're hoping that one film in particular doesn't get overlooked.

Next month, characters from The CW's four DC-based superhero TV shows (Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow) will join forces for an unprecedented four-night event, which will all be set up in the closing moments of an upcoming episode of Supergirl.
When Negan killed Glenn and Abraham on the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead, he broke the spirits of Rick and co. It was a devastating moment for the group, understandably so, and they'll no doubt have a tough time recovering from what happened. That doesn't mean they won't be looking to even the score though - particularly those who have been hurt the most by the whole thing.
Hoping to steal some of the spotlight away from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Battlefield 1 and to a lesser extent, Titanfall 2, Blizzard is going to make Overwatch free to play next weekend, November 18th - 21st.
Ghost Rider fans were skeptical when it was announced that the the Spirit of Vengeance was going to be adapted for the small screen and make his debut on the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but as the series continues, Robbie Reyes and his fiery passenger are definitely emerging as major highlights in most viewer's eyes. So much so that a lot of fans are now clamoring for the character to be given his own spinoff.
Though Deadpool was incredibly successful, and Logan looks like an absolute winner, Fox's X-Men universe has certainly seen better days. Gambit is stuck in development hell and the last film featuring the mutants, Apocalypse, was mediocre at best. All of that's in addition to the fact that Deadpool 2 is facing a bit of trouble what with director Tim Miller and composer Junkie XL departing.
