Jessica Chastain Reveals Mama 2 May Be Nothing But A Ghost
While Jessica Chastain has been climbing the Hollywood ranks with conviction, starring in Oscar nominees such as The Help and Zero Dark Thirty, I rather liked her role as a punk-rocking "mother" in the Guillermo Del Toro produced Mama. I know it wasn't a critical darling by any means, but the whole movie was a bit of fantastical horror with a true family vibe, so when it was announced that Mama 2 was entering the early stages of production, I actually showed some excitement.

With the release of his brand new album, People Keep Talking, slated for October 14th, it looks like Hoodie Allen wants to butter us up with a date to the movies before the big day hits. Allen has already shown us what he's made of with the release of his first single off the upcoming album, aptly titled "Show Me What You're Made Of," and today Hoodie celebrated People Keep Talking's pre-order date by unleashing a second unheard single, "Movie."

Hoodie Allen Dates New Album Titled People Keep Talking, Announces Exclusive Pre-Order Giveaways
Dropping on October 14th, People Keep Talking will be Hoodie's second EP (not counting Americoustic), and a highly anticipated follow-up to All American. While two songs have already been released leading up to the album, "Show Me What You're Made Of" and "Nolan Ryan," only "Show Me What You're Made Of" will be making it onto People Keep Talking - possibly because of the dramatic aftermath when a few people felt dissed by "Nolan Ryan." It's a damn shame because Hoodie throws nothing but heat throughout "Nolan Ryan," standing as some of his most mechanically impressive fire-spitting to date.

While Wer stumbles a bit out of the gate, a fiercely wild werewolf story eventually takes over that enters genre areas previously unexplored by horror filmmakers, resulting in an ambitious payoff that redefines how we see werewolves.

A True Desperado: The 10 Best Moments Of Robert Rodriguez’s Career
I'm noticing a weird occurrence as of late - not that many people are all that excited about Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. I don't know, maybe it's just the crew I roll with, but Rodriguez's Sin City sequel is coming without getting many people that excited, and remembering back on the original, I'm not really sure why. It's flashy, immersive, pulpy noir material that doesn't quite reinvent the genre, but it does offer a visually striking take on Frank Miller's heralded source material.

When going about a cinematic comic book adaptation, there are really two courses of action a team can take. On one hand, you can work to humanize certain elements, making the filmmaking more accessible to our own world. When you look at a movie like Iron Man, Tony Stark is a mere mortal who just happens to be one of the most talented inventors around, and you can actually believe his hero character could exist in everyday life. Marvel has been doing this to most of their heroes, and it's been working rather well for the studio. Do you need any more examples than dollar signs and critical ravings?

Dave Grohl’s Carrie-Inspired ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Wins The Internet
You can say what you'd like about the never-ending stream of ALS Ice Bucket videos clogging your social media feeds, but when you look at the numbers, a current donation total of $22.9 million can't be argued with. With only $1.9 million donated during the exact same time period last year and no reported cases of pneumonia yet, I'd say the Ice Bucket Challenge is quite the smashing success whether you drenched yourself in freezing water, donated some dough, or did both!
