Who’s NOT in X-Men: Days of Future Past? The Bryan Singer-helmed movie keeps adding names to its cast every week and today, actor Adan Canto revealed that he will be in the movie, as well. Even though he chose to keep his character a secret, when asked for a hint on Twitter he replied: “I might turn into a fireball if someone pisses me off.” What’s Canto hinting at?
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will be released next month, a little over two and a half years after its release on the Wii console. Even though it’s not a huge improvement over the original, there have been some key additions to this version that enrich its content. Not only does the game include an easy mode now, but also there’s a new extra world with seven hidden levels that the player unlocks when the game is beaten (though it is considered to be of extreme difficulty by the folks over at Destructoid).
Quantic Dream has finally revealed the box art for the long-awaited game Beyond: Two Souls, which will be the first videogame ever to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, followed by a panel with writer / director David Cage. Ever since the absolutely thrilling Heavy Rain was released, fans began speculating on how Quantic Dream could take it to the next level – and the company responded by announcing the aforementioned game, which features Academy Award nominees Ellen Paige and Willem Dafoe as Jodie Holmes and Nathan Dawkins, respectively.
At the time of this writing, Marvel doesn’t have much left to give away about Captain America: The Winter Soldier. As the movie goes into production, many relevant aspects have been revealed, including its cast, synopsis, and some amazing concept art featuring the Winter Soldier and what seems to be a modernized version of the Falcon.
Despite lackluster reception, the Academy of Motion Arts and Sciences wants Seth MacFarlane back for a second gig. Several factors seem to have come into play on their decision : the ratings increased in comparison to the disastrous 84th Academy Awards, hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway and, more importantly, he was hilarious, which is more than I can say about previous hosts such as alleged funnymen Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.
Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof are doing a great job at keeping everything Tomorrowland-related a secret. What do we know so far? Well, we know virtually nothing about it, because nothing has truly been ratified, except for Lindelof ‘s confirmation that it will not be about aliens, even though it had been widely reported that the storyline would revolve around the Disneyland attraction of the same name and UFOS. Doesn’t that sound silly?
