It’s officially time to fire up the stair-car, as Netflix and Imagine Entertainment finally concede that to leave the Bluth family on the shelf for much longer would be a huge mistake. The award-winning Arrested Development - which cultivated a devoted audience during its original run from 2004 to 2006 - was resurrected by Netflix back in 2013 as part of the earliest days of the streaming channel’s push into original programming. Now, the company is honouring a continued commitment to the show because, as Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) always says, the most important thing is family.

The issue of character rights is surely the greatest obstacle to a truly complete Marvel film franchise. While the comic books depict a vast realm in which beloved and iconic characters can interact and battle, their screen adaptation counterparts are restricted to particular studios. Thus, we have Marvel movies from 20th Century Fox - such as the Fantastic Four films and the X-Men franchise - and we have the Marvel Cinematic Universe from Disney. While rights deals have been reached before – most notably with Sony for the inclusion of Spider-Man in the MCU – many characters remain out of Disney’s reach, which can be frustrating for filmmakers such as James Gunn.

Has Tyrese Gibson Finally Snagged The Green Lantern Role?
There's one inescapable fact that continues to hound the publicity for Justice League, and that is that there's someone missing. Back in 2015, DC Extended Universe architect Zack Snyder got us all excited with images bearing the caption ‘Unite The Seven.’ That’s because there are seven core members of the Justice League in the New 52 DC Comics, and it's the New 52 DC universe upon which this movie franchise is largely based. As such, the line-up should feature Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, The Flash, Superman and Green Lantern – but so far, the latter has yet to be revealed.

It’s probably safe to say that Disney’s push into live-action remakes has now gained a vast amount of additional momentum, with the news that this year’s Beauty And The Beast has become the highest-grossing PG film. Wonder Woman Star Said Taghmaoui Reveals His Mysterious Character
When Wonder Woman finally arrives in theatres on June 2nd, it'll be a whole new world for many in the audience. Neither the Amazon Warrior, nor her origins, have been explored in live-action cinema before - with the exception of her brief introduction in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - so we're going to be meeting a whole new roster of characters. Among those being introduced in the film is a character played by actor Said Taghmaoui (Three Kings, American Hustle, The Infiltrator), whom we've seen pictured in various behind-the-scenes shots, but whose character has remained shrouded in mystery.

Thor: Ragnarok Will Feature Plenty Of Jeff Goldblum Improvisation
As if we weren’t excited enough already, Jeff Goldblum has been busy teasing his work in Thor: Ragnarok, which finally rolls into theatres on November 3rd. With acclaimed director Taika Waititi at the helm, the cast that has assembled for this third Thor instalment is impressive to say the least, and among many others, it includes Academy Award nominee Jeff Goldblum in the role of the Grandmaster. While Goldblum is no stranger to big budget projects, having previously starred in Jurassic Park and Independence Day, Thor: Ragnarok marks his first real foray into the superhero arena. It seems that did not stand in the way of his improvisational skills, though.

New Trailer For The Mist TV Series Fully Embraces Its Horror Origin
It has always seemed odd, the way that very few excellent adaptations of the literary work of Stephen King have been created. Despite the fact that the author is a prolific writer of some deeply profound, horrifying tales, capturing that essence onscreen has thus far been an astonishing rarity. One such example is his story, The Mist, which - despite being published a number of times - has only produced one extremely disappointing film adaptation in 2007. This could be about to change, however, with the imminent arrival of a television series from Spike that uses the basis of The Mist as a premise for an ongoing story – and its latest trailer certainly does not pull its punches.

New Clip Highlights Why Wonder Woman Is The Hero The World Needs
It’s been a long time coming – 77 years, to be exact – but Wonder Woman is finally about to take her rightful place on the big screen. Snippets of promotional footage have been very encouraging for fans so far, suggesting a feature film filled with a delicate balance of action, drama, and humour, as Amazonian Warrior Diana of Themyscira (Gal Gadot) heads into battle in World War I. But, it is this latest full clip of the movie that really hits the nail on the head – indicating, in the clearest of terms, that this film's characterisation of DC comic book icon Wonder Woman seems to be breathtakingly accurate.
