Suicide Squad Fans Lash Out At Rotten Tomatoes With A Petition

Full disclosure: I am a DC fan, and I loved both Man Of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - while recognising that they are flawed endeavours. I am also very much looking forward to seeing Suicide Squad, despite the enormous wave of negative reviews the movie has received in the past 48 hours. It seems this objective and optimistic stance may be surprising to some – particularly those who have taken it upon themselves to launch a petition to demand the closure of the website Rotten Tomatoes, based on the suggestion that it promotes some kind of bias against DC movies.

Beatriz At Dinner is in the very earliest stages of coming together as a movie, but it is already starting to sound like an intriguing prospect – albeit one with a premise that is, perhaps, a little familiar. John Carpenter Successfully Sues Luc Besson For Plagiarism

They say there is nothing new under the sun, but there is surely a difference between homage and plagiarism. Daniel Bruhl And Rosamund Pike Are Circling Entebbe

A new thriller is on its way from screenwriter Gregory Burke (’71) and director Jose Padilha (Robocop), based on the real life hostage situation that unfolded at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda in 1976 – and Daniel Bruhl and Rosamund Pike are in talks to star. Entebbe will see the actors play two of four hijackers who took control of a plane full of passengers, and created a week-long ground siege that was ended by Israeli Commandoes.

The Rocketeer Gets A Sequel With A Black Woman As Its New Hero

In what can only be described as welcome news, Disney has announced its plans to re-launch The Rocketeer with a sequel intended to re-boot the property as franchise material - with a black woman as the central hero. The original film was released in 1991 to lacklustre response in theatres – but found a devoted audience later as it settled in to the home entertainment market. The new movie will be titled The Rocketeers.
