First Trailer Released For Dredd

One remake no one ever expected to happen was a remake of Judge Dredd, a mid 90's action vehicle, which starred Sylvester Stallone marching around a gigantic city, with a red bucket on his head shouting: "I am the law" at young criminals before shooting them. It was bad. And it did hideous business. But there's always the chance for reinvention and with Alex Garland (28 Days Later) behind the script, a remake could produce something interesting. Mad Men Season 5 Is The Highest Rated Of The Series

The figures are in from Sunday night revealing that the Mad Men Season 5 finale, "The Phantom", is the highest rated finale of the series. The season's closer got around 2.7 million views on Sunday night, not accounting for repeat viewings or online viewers. This boost in viewings towards the end pushes up the season average viewers to 2.6 million which means that Season 5 is the most watched of Mad Men's entire run.

There is no doubt that the trailer for The Great Gatsby was a divisive bit of marketing, I personally thought it looked pretty ropey and others were more convinced that the style director Baz Luhrmann seems to be going for captures the excesses of F. Mad Men Season Finale Review: “The Phantom” (Season 5, Episode 13)

"My friend down there, she was wondering: Are you alone?" Well, Season 5 has come and gone in what feels like a flash. We've seen a lot this season and last week's episode was a roller coaster of emotional outpouring due to the loss of one of the show's major characters, but as has proved throughout the years (with the exception of Season 3) the season finale is kept admirably low key.

Damon Lindelof Rewriting World War Z

Looks like World War Z was in more trouble than we thought. A few days ago we found out that zombie apocalypse film was undergoing an intensive re-shoot period due to some dissatisfaction with what was shot during principal photography. Now it seems that the producers and director Marc Foster are intent on getting the film up to snuff by hiring a new writer to do some work on the script.
