Amy Poehler and Tina Fey fans rejoice, mostly, at the announcement of a forthcoming comedy tour

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are coming, but only to a few U.S. cities

Comedians Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have joined forces and announced that they will be going on tour together. The duo were friends for almost 30 years, and their tour will be the first time they will be performing live together.

Rolling Stone reports that the Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Restless Leg Tour will kick off in late April 2023 and the duo will only perform in four cities. The tour starts in Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C, then will be making its way to Chicago, Fenway, and will close at Atlantic City in New Jersey on June 10.

According to the tour website, a VIP package will also be available for a limited number of purchasers. VIP ticket holders would receive a premium reserved seat and a VIP merch bundle that will be shipped to the person’s home after the show. There isn’t any news yet as to whether the duo would also be hosting a meet and greet for fans.

Excitement sparked ever since the tour was announced. Fans are keen to buy tickets just to see their favorite comedians live. However, due to the limited tour destinations — it’s only happening in four cities in America — international fans expressed their disappointment that both Poehler and Fey are not coming to their area. There were also calls to add more dates.

Alongside calls for more American shows, there are calls for the duo to do a world tour, and the duo should visit Europe or perform on other sides of the globe.

It’s currently unknown if either Fey or Poehler plans to announce more dates. But fans have their fingers crossed that the duo would visit more cities. If you’re keen to see this comedic duo live on stage, ticket pre-sale starts on Feb. 15 at 10 AM local time. General sale will begin on Feb. 17 at 10 AM local. Beware, though: The dreaded Ticketmaster is involved.
