Ben Affleck, who?: Jennifer Lopez short circuits brains everywhere as she reveals to live audience ways she likes to get ‘naughty’

They seem destined to continually bring each other up.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship has always been one of the most fascinating stories in entertainment, and every time JLo takes the stage to talk about her life — this time, her preferences in the bedroom — we’re reminded why they simultaneously cannot work and yet cannot fully escape each other.

JLo has been on a world tour, and it was evident during her last stop in Spain that this time, there will be no holds barred. While in Spain, JLo made an unplanned announcement that she doesn’t see herself ever getting married again — and considering how much of a romantic she has been throughout her life, we’ll have to wait and see on that one. But this time, she decided to get even more personal… and perhaps raunchier.

While performing in Italy, Lopez decided mid-set to let her audience in on what she prefers in the bedroom. “I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you, but I do — and sometimes I like it hard,” Lopez continued, “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.” JLo went on to explain that during the summertime, she gets “naughty.”

Page Six reports that this was only half of what made the performance noteworthy. Apparently, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer also decided to take a dig at her ex-husband Affleck. JLo reportedly performed her new song “Up All Night,” which is widely believed to be about her relationship with Affleck, with lyrics alluding to an ex who wants her back while she’s tired of him breaking her down.

Reportedly, after her glitzy comeback, JLo has recorded enough material for an entire new album, and it’s clear some of the songs will be directed at the former Batman star. And that’s what makes the two so intriguing. Affleck seems like someone who is very protective of his privacy, and he mentioned in a GQ interview that rekindling with JLo forced him to step out of that cocoon. Affleck said, “You don’t marry a ship captain and then say, ‘Well, I don’t like going out in the water.’”

The reality of celebrity is having to balance fame with artistry — JLo and Affleck both struggle with one aspect of that balance. But they share the habit of constantly looking back, so in a way, they will always be part of each other’s story. They seem destined to continually bring each other up, whether in magazine interviews or at Italian festivals.

They still share a residence they have yet to successfully offload on the real estate market, so you can imagine there is still some form of correspondence left between them.

Breakups are hard, and divorces even harder; you have to rebuild yourself from the ground up, and sometimes that means identifying and calling out what brought you down in the first place. JLo is doing that through her art, and that’s exactly what artists are supposed to do.
