Brie Larson understandably requires some assistance for her terrible posture

Captain Marvel's one weakness is poor posture.

Carrying the weight of the MCU on your shoulders can be disastrous for your back, as Brie Larson has recently discovered.

The Captain Marvel star shared a pic on Twitter showing her leaning against a street sign with a pose that borders on contortion. The caption she wrote alongside the image read “in need of a back massage”; no prizes for guessing what you’ll find in the replies to the tweet.

What has Marvel had her doing for her back to be that bad? Larson has confirmed previously that she does her own stunts, so we guess that could explain it. But surely whatever the studio pays her is enough to find a decent chiropractor? Granted, not many have tried using a street sign to sort out their back so maybe it works wonders.

Of course, the replies were filled with a mix of people blaming her for standing the way she is along with thirsty fans volunteering themselves to give a massage.

To be fair, if you stand like that, you can’t exactly be surprised when your back gives out on you. Although, Larson should probably count herself lucky that she can still bend her back like that. Most people would likely be in hospital after trying something similar.

On top of those replies, there were also a few genuine tips for how to sort a bad back.

Whilst it’s pretty random, tennis balls have got to be better than a pole on the street.

She may be one of the strongest heroes in the MCU but it appears that poor posture is Captain Marvel’s one and only weakness. We can only hope she seeks the help of a chiropractor, stat.
