Are Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendez back together? That’s the question that the former couple’s fans are asking and basing their speculations around after their frequent rendezvous.
For a pair who was Hollywood’s most popular couple prior to their breakup in 2021, having recently spotted at dinner together in New York City and holding hands on a coffee outing served as enough fodder for igniting their dating rumors.

Meanwhile, the speculations strengthened after Cabello and Mendez were seen at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Concert on Friday where they could be found flashing smiles and seemingly having a lot of fun. Cabello who was in a black sleeveless top and Mendez in a white shirt and jeans were captured heading to the VIP stage where they were sitting closer to each other, smiling at each other and singing to one of Taylor’s songs.
Their appearance at yet another public event where they could be seen engaging in a friendly interaction reminds one of their making-out session at the Coachella Music Festival last month which marked the beginning of their reconciliation rumors.
Even though neither party confirmed the state of their relationship then, a source closer to them denied the romance rumors telling Us Weekly,
“They had an amazing relationship and will always have a mutual respect for each other. Their bond was very special and they’ve stayed in contact even after their split. They realized that even though they’re not suited for each other in a romantic sense, they have a strong chemistry and will always remain close friends.”
Their public presence has caught Twitter by storm which is filled with images and videos of them, especially Cabello laughing and dancing to the songs.

Whatever the reality is, videos captured of the two at the party seems to prove nothing more than a burgeoning friendship. Whether this is friendship or the beginning of something new is not known but we are surely looking forward to further updates on it.
