Chelsea Handler is sounding the alarm after a home discovery exposed a chilling truth about the politician who sold it

Comedian Chelsea Handler recently revealed that she unknowingly purchased a “disaster” house from Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The private sale back in 2021 kept the identities of both buyer and seller under wraps, which Handler says hid some pretty egregious issues from her. It was so bad that she only just moved into the $6 million home after 4 years. 

Handler spilled the beans on an episode of her podcast, Dear Chelsea, chatting with actor Denis Leary about the whole nightmare. She explained that she bought the Los Angeles house five years ago from an anonymous couple who turned out to be RFK Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Hines. 

“I bought RFK Jr.’s house in Los Angeles five years ago,” she said. “I did not know I was buying it from him. It was anonymous.” She added, “I still have not lived in this house. That’s how f—ed up this house was.” According to Daily Dot, the place lacked a proper foundation, and there was even an illegal structure in the backyard.

Handler claims that because of the super-private nature of the sale, some critical issues, like the foundation, weren’t even revealed until after the purchase during a post-inspection. “When they opened up the house, they were like, ‘This house is the most toxic environment. You cannot live here for at least two years,'” Handler continued. “I’m not exaggerating any of this. It was a disaster, and I didn’t know it going in because everything was under wraps.” 

She also mentioned that an initial inspection somehow missed that a backyard shed wasn’t actually legal. “There’s a unit he has — a little outdoor storage unit — that’s been there since I bought the property, and they’re like, ‘This is illegal.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my god.’ So now we have to remove his illegal bullsh– from my property and I’m like, ‘How did they not find this upon the first inspection?'” It sounds like a total headache, honestly.

Handler’s frustrating experience with her new house really mirrors some of the criticisms people on the left have for how RFK Jr. has handled national health concerns. “The idea that this guy is in charge of the health of our country when he didn’t even have a proper foundation at his house?” Handler concluded, clearly frustrated.

Over on X, the pro-RFK crowd has been quick to jump on the idea that Handler didn’t have the house inspected before buying it, glossing over the details of the sale. They even ignored details of the foundational issues. 

Meanwhile, people on the left aren’t exactly shocked by any of this. “Shocker these two frauds @CherylHines and @RFKJr_Official @HHSGov are a mess,” said @Oscareli. Well, one this is for certain, here is just another weird story to add to his legacy. From using cocaine anecdotes to prove he isn’t a germaphobe to making cringe workout videos, RFK Jr is always good for some incredulous laughter.
