So much so, that a mere recommendation by the author doesn’t go unnoticed by his fans, who are quick to bring it into the public eye. A very recent example is King’s recent tweet, where he resorts to his catchy and smart choice of words to praise the book Yellowface, calling it “a great read…just a great story. Hard to put down, harder to forget.”

The comment had the desired impact, as many users thanked the spooky icon for bringing this recommendation to notice. At this point, it won’t be surprising we see a die-hard King supporter hunting for the book to satiate their curiosity about the its content, which has to be powerful enough to grab the master of horror’s attention.

Authored by R.F. Kuang, the new crime thriller peppered with horror elements became an instant success following its publication, and as per readers, Kuang’s nuanced take on sensitive themes like racism and cultural diversity helped in securing the work its well-deserved position as a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller.

This, coupled with a gripping storyline about murder, revenge, and added mysteries, hold high potential to broaden it fanbase, and King’s opinion in this instance can be deemed highly useful in terms of increasing readership.
