‘He sucks all the air out of the room’: Master of understatement Stephen King keeps wailing on Donald Trump

He just can't seem to help himself.

If it’s a day of the week ending in the letter “y,” then there’s a high chance Stephen King will be hopping onto social media to take aim at his arch-nemesis Donald Trump. Wouldn’t you know it, the legendary horror author has been ticking those boxes all over again.

We’ve now reached a stage where people are going to think something is seriously wrong with the brains behind some of the scariest stories ever told if he manages to go a full 24 hours without wailing on the perma-tanned WWE Hall of Famer, so it’s at least reassuring to know that we haven’t been in any danger of that happening for a while.

In fact, with the former reality TV host currently in the midst of even more criminal charges, you can almost feel the enthusiasm seeping out of every character whenever King lines up his latest shot at one of his favorite targets.

That being said, he has underplayed it slightly by offering that the Two Weeks Notice and The Little Rascals star “sucks the air out of the room,” when he’s proven himself more than capable countless times over of igniting nationwide fury and splitting the political spectrum straight down the middle by virtue of nothing more than his existence.

To call both the political landscape and social media unpredictable at the best of times would be doing both a massive disservice, but fortunately, Stephen King can always be relied upon to weigh in with his two cents on Trump to provide a comforting air of familiarity to what’s often a rampant hellscape.
