‘I desperately need the money’: New emails show that Sarah Ferguson begged Jeffrey Epstein for a job as his house assistant

Emails show that Epstein helped her out a lot.

Newly released emails appear to show Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, begging the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for a job. She cited a need for money, and I guess it was desperate if she was willing to be a ‘house assistant,’ as she calls it. The email exchange took place after Epstein had already served 13 months in a Florida jail for soliciting and procuring an underage girl for prostitution.

Despite his status as a convicted criminal, the former Duchess of York, now 66, approached him directly for employment, in a May 16, 2010, email. She wrote, “But why I don’t understand, don’t you just get me to be your House Assistant. I am the most capable and desperately need the money,” adding, “Please Jeffrey think about it.”

According to People Magazine, this desperate plea wasn’t an isolated incident; it seems Ferguson had been relying on Epstein for help, financial and otherwise, for some time. Unveiled documents showed that both she and her ex-husband, former Prince Andrew, contacted the disgraced financier multiple times following his 2008 conviction, despite their claims that they had severed all ties.

Another claim destroyed by email receipts

In most of the emails, Ferguson absolutely gushed over the man, even reaching out to congratulate him on a child when he wasn’t in touch with her. In January 2010, she wrote: “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness.” She even concluded that message with a bizarre flourish: “Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.”

Similarly, in 2009, while Epstein helped her land brand deals, she wrote, “In just one week, after your lunch, it seems the energy has lifted. I have never been more touched by a friends kindness than your compliment to me infront of my girls. Thank you Jeffrey for being the brother I have always wished for.”

Like everyone else in her circle, she apologized to the public and denounced him after his fall from grace, even saying that she abhorred pedophilia. Then, she reached out to him over email a month later. She reportedly wrote, “As you know, I did not, absolutely not, say the P [pedophile] word about you.”

Ferguson continued, expressing her remorse for the public interview: “I know you feel hellaciously let down by me. And I must humbly apologise to you and your heart for that. You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family.”

The revelations from the Epstein files have been problematic for the royal family, and it even resulted in Prince Andrew having all his titles and honors stripped. Since then, she has kept a low profile and is reportedly trying to distance herself from her ex-husband. However, with this new information, it is only a matter of time before public scrutiny will land squarely on her.
