‘I love my brother but I don’t agree with this’: Logan Paul calls out Jake after he tells fans to switch off Super Bowl half-time show

Logan Paul called out Jake's awful take on Bad Bunny's half-time show.

The relationship between brothers Logan Paul and Jake Paul is a complicated one, but they often share similar opinions on things. With that said, The elder brother, Logan, felt it important he should vocalize his disagreement with his brother’s take on singer Bad Bunny’s half-time performance at the Super Bowl.

In a controversial post to X, Jake proudly claimed that he was “Purposefully turning off the halftime show.” He encouraged others to do the same in order to “show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences.” His reason for boycotting the performance was due to Bad Bunny whom he labeled “A fake American citizen” who “hates America.”

The post garnered a lot of negative attention online, particularly because Jake’s argument shared the same reasoning as a lot of MAGA individuals who also took issue with the performance. Donald Trump himself has been very vocal in his hatred towards Bad Bunny and the performance. Meanwhile, many of his supporters switched over to watch the Turning Point USA performances in place of the Super Bowl half-time show.

Logan Paul calls Jake out

While the large majority have rightly clowned on those taking issue with Bad Bunny’s performance, Jake’s post in particular caught the attention of his brother, Logan, who responded to the post vocalizing his disagreement with his brother’s take. He also took the time to point out that Puerto Ricans are Americans.

Logan’s response to his brother saw mixed reactions from his fans. While some commended the elder Paul brother for taking a stand, others questioned why he had previously stated he wasn’t excited for the Super Bowl half-time show, “You’re on video saying you weren’t excited for the halftime show. Pick a side man.”

Jake flip-flops

Whatever the case, it seems very few people agree with Jake’s initial take on the show, prompting the influencer turned boxer to make another post clarifying his stance. “To clarify: I wasn’t calling anyone a “fake citizen” because they’re from Puerto Rico.” He then claimed that his issue was with the anti-ICE and anti-America rhetoric. Of course, that hardly dampened the fury and disappointment many felt.

Perhaps Jake Paul needs to do a better job reading the room because right now ICE are seen by many as the ones actively destroying America. He evidently regretted the posts as a few hours later he posted, “Guys i love bad bunny idk what happened on my twitter last night ??” This only further angered the rest of his fans who told him to stand by his word.

Most people were mature enough to enjoy Bad Bunny’s half-time show without throwing a tantrum, but maturity has never been something the Paul brothers were known for. It’s hard to even tell if either Logan or Paul actually meant what they posted or if they were just trolling.
